Lukas James Bass (b. 2003) is a composer and saxophonist from Houston, TX who is currently attending Bowling Green State University. His composition teachers have included Marilyn Shrude, Christopher Dietz, John Eagle and Adam Har-zvi. His saxophone teachers have included John Sampen, Garrett Evans and Sam Valancy. He has also studied oboe under Dwight Parry and David Munro
